Chennai, March 24 (Telugu Bullet)  Actress Kangana Ranaut, who celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, literally broke into tears at a media interaction in the city while praising AL Vijay, her director in the upcoming political biopic “Thalaivi”.

“Never in my life have I met a man who has not made me feel apologetic about my talent. I’m getting emotional, I’m not usually like that, but I want to say that he is one person, who has made me feel good about my talent. Usually, the camaraderie they show with a male hero is never shown with an actress. But as a director, I learned from him how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership,” said an emotional Kangana, while discussing Vijay at the media meet.

The trilingual film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film also features Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Madhoo, and Bhagyashree in key roles.

“Thalaivi,” tells the story of the late former chief minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa, and traces her life from her rise in the world of films as an actress to becoming a powerful politician who would ultimately rule the state.

Kangana won her fourth National Award as Best Actress on Monday, for her roles in “Manikarnika” and “Panga”. Besides this, she will also be seen in the films “Dhaakad” and “Tejas”.

Mumbai, March 24 (Telugu Bullet) Singer Shreya Ghoshal posted pictures on Instagram of her mother’s 60th birthday celebrations on Tuesday.

The singer, who is going to be a mom soon, can be seen flaunting her baby bump in a white T-shirt and black pants. She also spoke about how it’s a happy time for the family as her mom will be a “grandma” soon.

She posted a series of pictures and videos of the cake-cutting ceremony and captioned: “It’s Ma’s 60th birthday! Wow! She doesn’t look na Meri pyaari Ma be always healthy & happy so I can continue to get pampered by you and I can pamper you back! And…. you are soon gonna be a grandma, how exciting!!!!”

Shreya is expecting her first child with her husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya. She had posted the news of her pregnancy on Instagram at the start of this month.

The singer tied the knot with Shiladitya on February 5, 2015. The two had a traditional Bengali ceremony.

Filmmaker Rumy Jafry, who directs Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the film “Chehre”, feels both actors were apt for the project.

Talking about Big B, Rumy says it was his honor to have got the chance to direct him.

“The best part about working with Amit Ji is that he makes people around him comfortable, It’s like one won’t feel that one is around ‘the legendary Amitabh Bachchan’. He makes a smooth bond and connection with co-stars. So, while shooting all the scenes, the chemistry looks effortless,” he says.

He adds: “I think there won’t be even a single person in our industry who wouldn’t want to work with Amitabh Bachchan. I feel fortunate that I got an opportunity to work with him as a writer in my early days. The first film I did as a director was with Amit Ji back in 2008. Now, with ‘Chehre’, I am happy that I got an opportunity to direct him again.”

Talking about working with Emraan, Rumy says that he was perfect for the role.

“This is the first time that I am working with Emraan. Initially, while thinking about this character, we could only visualize Emraan for it. He was perfect for this role. He is a dedicated and disciplined actor and is always prepared with his scenes and lines. He is a very focused actor on set,” he says.

“Chehre” also stars Rhea Chakraborty, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor, and will release on April 9.

Actor Jackie Shroff plays an au natural cult leader in the upcoming series “OK Computer”. He says playing a character who is practically not wearing any clothes throughout the show comes with its set of challenges.

Jackie plays Pushpak, a cult leader who believes in being all-natural all the time, and sans clothes too.

“Playing a character who is practically not wearing any clothes throughout the show comes with its own set of challenges, but one can overcome such challenges by giving the character your personal touch. I have tried doing exactly that. While Pushpak is an eccentric character on its own, I feel that a little touch of my personal eccentricity worked well for the character as well as the story,” Jackie said.

“OK Computer” is series written and produced by “Ship Of Theseus” maker Anand Gandhi, and directed by Pooja Shetty and Neil Pagar.

The series stars Radhika Apte and Vijay Varma. It will release on March 26 on Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium.

Recently a making ‌ video from this movie has been released. Created as a video by combining some making scenes with the background song ‘Look and Learn’. The scenes between Nitin‌ and Kirti are very funny. Meanwhile, it is learned that Trivikram Srinivas will be the chief guest at the pre-release ceremony on Sunday evening (March 21) at Shilpakalavedi as part of the movie promotions. 

Trivikram was the chief guest at the pre-release event of the movie ‘Bhishma’ starring Nitin as the hero last year. The film became a super hit. With that sentiment, it seems that Rang de has invited Trivikram as the chief guest for the film.

Allu Sirish talks about his Hindi single ‘Vilayati Sharab’

March 23,(Telugu Bullet)  Of late, Allu Sirish has been intoxicated with Vilayati Sharab, the Hindi single which has just released. The opportunity that came out of the blue, he says. “Darshan Raval is a big singer, I heard his music. And choreographer Adil Sheikh’s work. Neeti Mohan again… I didn’t have to think so much about the project. And I thought why not give it a shot,” adds an elated Sirish.

Sirish is not the same actor that fans saw in his earlier movies. His chisellied body thanks to rigorous physical training and workouts makes him look dapper. “I felt like I should shed some kilos after noticing a couple of my films. Initially, the reason was to transform my appearance for cosmetic reasons — to look good. Later, I realized the essence of being fit,” he says.

He shares how in the process, the benefits are much rewarding for a healthy body and mind. Your mind becomes better, your body is more efficient. You are more energetic throughout the day, my sleep got better. It has unlimited benefits.

“I just feel my lifestyle has become so sedentary that we’re always sitting and working. We almost forgot what it was to be actors. Apart from losing weight, the real benefit is having great health. For me, fitness includes flexibility and strength, I’ve been parallelly practicing yoga, I want to build overall conditioning. I want to make it a way of life. Making healthier choices makes a big difference. I didn’t turn vegan yet. I’ve cut down on processed foods, sugars, cutting off regular snacks. I’ve lost eight kgs of body weight in the last four months,” he adds.

Intrigued by Osho

Diving into the world of literature, Allu Sirish has been getting Gyan for his soul from author Osho. “His speeches and literature are something that gives new insights about life. During the making of Desamuduru, I sought to know from director Puri Jagannadh how the song Satte Ye Godava Ledu was conceptualized. I was intrigued by Puri’s explanation and the philosophy that he adopted from Osho. Puri sir gifted Bunny a set of books and since then they’ve been languishing in our library. Definitely, the author Osho did influence my thoughts and I put some of them in practice. Not just Osho, I pick from each other what I like.”

On the work front, Sirish is awaiting the announcement of his upcoming Telugu rom-com starring Anu Emanuel.

Mumbai, March 23 (Telugu Bullet)   Actress Aditi Rao Hydari admits she is sensitive. Being thick-skinned is hard for her, despite being in an industry where criticism is part and parcel of a celebrity’s life.

“People revel in comparing, pulling people down, and criticizing. I am very sensitive. So, the thick-skinned thing is hard for me. I feel everything. I will laugh as loudly as I cry and I am okay with that. The whole sensitive side as an actor — I am like that as a person. So, I can have hard days and it is tough, but I feel I always try looking at the silver lining,” said Aditi, who was recently seen in the digitally-released film “The Girl On The Train”.

She added: “An actor’s rejection is so personal. They are rejecting you. It is always you. It is so personal. It can be very difficult and it can be very heart-breaking.”

Aditi, who will soon be seen in the anthology “Ajeeb Dastaans” and the Tamil rom-com “Hey Sinamika”, does not give importance to her bad days.

“I am the kind of person who will always look for the sunshine whatever dark spot you put me in so if I am having my bad days I will count my blessings. If somebody walks through the door I’ll find five good things about them rather than two things I don’t like about them,” she said.

The actress revealed the key to staying positive.

“That keeps me happy and upbeat and it helps me to look forward to happy things rather than concentrate on happy stuff because the crappy stuff is there we can’t do away with it. But isn’t it nicer to look at happy things? Otherwise, it is endless,” she added.
