Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar shared a throwback picture with wife Twinkle Khanna to wish her on her birthday and joked that he is looking forward to making more questionable life decisions with her.

“Here’s to another year of questionable life decisions. But I’m so glad I get to make all of them with you Happy birthday Tina,” Akshay wrote on Twitter along with the image of the couple posing with bicycles.

The picture seems to be taken during a vacation. In the picture, the couple smiles while posing with bicycles amidst a lush background. Akshay wears a black sweatshirt with the Mona Lisa painting printed on it while Twinkle is seen in a beige boat neck sweater and white denim lowers with yellow-tinted sunglasses.

The couple is known for sharing hilarious social posts about each other. Recently, Akshay mimicked Twinkle’s pose in a picture she posted on social media, and she had a hilarious comeback for him in response.

After working together in films such as “International Khiladi” and “Zulmi”, Twinkle and Akshay got married on January 17, 2001. The couple is parents to son Aarav and daughter Nitara.

Salman Khan shows off big biceps in new post

Salman Khan flaunts bulging biceps in a new Instagram post he shared with fans on Tuesday. The 55-year-old Bollywood superstar looks fighting fit and ready for action in the frame that has him strike an intense pose.

In the Instagram picture, the actor looks away from the camera. He is dressed in a grey T-shirt paired with deep grey shorts and a cap. Salman flaunts a beard in the image.

“just being . . .” he wrote alongside the photograph.

On the work front, Salman is busy promoting his production “Kaagaz”, directed by Satish Kaushik. The Pankaj Tripathi-starrer is presented by Salman Khan Films with Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production.

Salman’s upcoming acting projects are “Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai”, “Kicks 2”, and “Antim: The Final Truth”.

Rajinikanth decides not to enter politics

In an anti-climax to his much expected political plunge, actor Rajinikanth on Tuesday announced his decision to back out citing his health condition.

In a three-page letter posted on his Twitter handle, Rajinikanth said despite severe precautions taken at the shooting of “Annatthe” movie four persons tested positive for coronavirus.

The actor said while he tested negative for coronavirus, his blood pressure fluctuated, and hence was hospitalized in Hyderabad.

Rajinikanth said the doctors had advised him that fluctuating blood pressure will affect his transplanted kidney.

He said the movie shooting got postponed resulting in the loss of crores of rupees and jobs for many.

“All because of my health condition. I am looking at this as a warning given to me by God,” Rajinikanth said.

The actor also said it is not possible to bring out an uprising amongst the people campaigning via social media after floating a party.

“I have to address public meetings, meet lakhs of people,” he said.

According to him, even in a group of 120 persons (movie shooting team) he was in the hospital for three days owing to some people testing positive for coronavirus. And now there is a new virus mutant.

Rajinikanth said as he is taking immunosuppressants, the anti-coronavirus vaccine may not be effective and if his health gets affected his fellow political passengers might face various problems.

“Hence with much regret I am saying that I am not in a position to start a political party and enter politics. Only I know the pain when I announce this,” Rajinikanth said. The actor said without entering politics he will serve the people.

Sonu Sood: Never thought that one day a book will be written on me

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood never envisioned that there would be a book about him someday, adding that he misses his mother when such a thing is happening.

Sonu has written a book recounting his experience of helping migrant workers during the Covid lockdown. Titled “I Am No Messiah”, the book is written in the first person, revealing the emotional challenges the actor faced while extending help.

“It has turned out to be very special because I never realized that one day, I will do something, on which a book will be written on me, where I can share my experiences, share all the moments where I connected with millions of people across the globe,” Sonu told IANS, on writing the book.

“Now, putting everything on paper… my mom, who was a professor, always used to tell me to write about my experiences, whenever you feel they are special because they will stay with you forever. With so many things happening, you tend to forget those experiences, but you can always go back to those pages and revisit those times,” he added.

The actor continued: “I wish she was around and she would have been a proud mother if she would have read the book. Today, I miss her more. I thank my parents for teaching me, guiding me, and praying for me, which is helping me.”

At present, Sonu is seen hosting “Bharat Ke Mahaveer”. The series brings stories that represent the spirit of solidarity in the country and celebrates Indians who have shown extraordinary kindness during the coronavirus pandemic. The series airs on the Discovery channel, and the Discovery Plus app, and comes in partnership with the United Nations in India, NITI Aayog, and Discovery channel.

Twinkle Khanna flaunts her embroidery work

Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna took to social media to share a joyous moment of dressing up in something she embroidered herself.

The actress posted an Instagram selfie in a white shirt that has her embroidery on it.

“The joy of dressing up in something you have embroidered yourself. My white shirt is transformed with our Mumbai ‘Tai’! #TwinningWithTai,” she wrote with the image.

Twinkle chose to create a bespectacled woman’s face in red and blue on the shirt.

Back in August, Twinkle had shared the image of the embroidery when the work was in progress. She had mentioned that she finds peace in what she describes as thread therapy.

Earlier, on July 26, she had shared a video of herself doing embroidery.

She wrote: “While growing up in my Grandmother’s house, we all learned to paint, sew and knit. After twenty years I am trying my hand at embroidery again, struggling but trying. I can still hear my Nani’s voice echoing in my head, ‘Tina, don’t do untidy work’.”

Big B shares philosophy on friendship and life

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan began the last week of the year on a philosophical note. On Monday, Big B tweeted from his verified account reminding us of the value of old friends in our life.

“Make new friends, but keep the old. Those are silver, these are gold,” he wrote.

The 78-year-old actor also offered a suggestion on how to tackle the challenges that life throws at us. “We can’t always choose the music life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it,” he wrote in a separate tweet.

Bachchan’s fans responded by sharing their opinions.

Sonam Kapoor’s new film ‘Blind’ goes on floor in UK

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja started shooting for her new film Blind in the city on Monday. The film is an action thriller directed by Shome Makhija and will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.

They will be seen treading new ground with the genre, and the cast also includes Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli, and Lilette Dubey.

The film centers around a blind police officer in pursuit of a serial killer. It is produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh and Manisha W., Pinkesh Nahar and Sachin Nahar, and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, and is slated to release in 2021.

Nothing alarming in Rajinikanth’s test reports, says hospital

There is nothing alarming in the test reports of superstar Rajinikanth, Apollo Hospital said on Sunday.

“All the investigations reports have come in and there is nothing alarming in the reports. The team of doctors will evaluate him this afternoon and make a decision on his discharge,” said the latest medical bulletin issued by the hospital.

The 70-year-old was admitted to the hospital on Friday with severe fluctuations in blood pressure.

The hospital, in its bulletin on Saturday evening, had described his condition as stable and stated that a decision on his discharge from the hospital will be taken on Sunday.

Rajinikanth’s daughter is with him in the hospital. Family and treating doctors have requested all well-wishers to avoid visiting the hospital.

The actor was shooting for the Tamil film ‘Annaatthe’ in Hyderabad for the last 10 days.

A couple of people on the film sets had tested positive for Covid-19. Rajinikanth was tested on December 22 for Covid and he was negative. Since then he isolated himself and was monitored closely.

Though he did not have any symptoms of Covid-19, his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations and needed further evaluation for which he was admitted to the hospital.

Raveena Tandon to recreate ‘Kabhi tu chhalia lagta hai’

Actress Raveena Tandon on Saturday shared a string of pictures on Instagram, adding that she is out to recreate one of her most memorable songs. She asked fans to guess who her co-star would be in the recreation.

Going by her caption, the song Raveena refers to is “Kabhi tu chhalia lagta hai” filmed on her in her 1991 debut film “Patthar Ke Phool”, opposite Salman Khan. In the Instagram images, Raveena is seen getting her hair and make-up done by a crew in PPE suits. She is seen dressed in a printed white saree with a black blouse, just as she wore in the song.

‘Love’ of her life that Kareena misses this year

Kareena Kapoor Khan has posted a string of pictures on Instagram from her past vacation in Gstaad, regretting that she will not be able to be at the Swiss Alps holiday spot this year.

In the images, Kareena’s son Taimur is seen sporting a jumper with “Gstaad” written on it. Other pictures feature the actress, Taimur, and her husband Saif Ali Khan enjoying themselves.

“Will miss you this year. Gstaad my love,” Kareena wrote.

The Gstaad trip is a yearly ritual for Saif and Kareena. The couple got married in 2012 and Kareena gave birth to their first-born, Taimur, in 2016. She is currently expecting their second baby, and she often shares photographs of her baby bump on social media.

Kareena and Saif had announced on August 12 that they are expecting their second child. The actress recently completed her shoot for the upcoming film “Laal Singh Chaddha” co-starring Aamir Khan in Delhi.
