When filmmaker Rathinam Krishna selected Neha Shetty as the lead actress for “Rules Ranjan,” it was a decision that didn’t surprise many, given her recent success in “DJ Tillu.” However, the director emphasizes that he made this choice without having watched “DJ Tillu.” He believed she naturally fit the role of an urban girl.
During their initial meeting, the Actress encouraged Krishna to watch “DJ Tillu,” but he preferred not to do so, wanting to avoid any influence from her previous performance. “Rules Ranjan” revolves around the journey of an average student, played by Kiran Abbavaram, who achieves success in life. Ram Charan was scheduled to start filming for his upcoming movie ‘Game Changer,’ directed by Shanmugam Shankar, on Saturday. However, just as everything seemed ready for the shoot, an unexpected obstacle arose for the film’s crew.
The actor is said to have sustained an injury on his face just two days before the start of the shoot. Details about the injury have been kept confidential, but it is reported that Charan suffered the injury at his residence.
After receiving initial first aid, Charan was assessed by doctors who determined that he was not in the optimal condition to start shooting right away. Consequently, the actor has been advised to take a 10-day rest, meaning that Charan will have to wait a bit longer before joining the shooting schedule.
