Punjabi track ‘Gallan Chaandi Diyan’ from movie ‘Teeja Punjab’ out

Actors Amberdeep Singh and Nimrat Khaira-starrer ‘Teeja Punjab’s first song ‘Gallan Chaandi Diyan’ is out. It is sung by Nimrat Khaira, who is also featured in the track along with Amberdeep.

Speaking about the dance number, which according to her is perfect for the wedding season, Nimrat says: “Working on this album alongside great artists from the industry has been a wonderful experience. Some songs are very special to an artist, and ‘Gallan Chaandi Diyan’ is one such composition for me. I enjoyed every moment of recording the song as well as shooting for the movie.”

She goes on: “The song has finally been released, and I am sure that my fans will give it all their love. This song has everything – good lyrics and music to the right beats, to make it the most popular dance number to groove to this wedding season. Even I cannot stop myself from dancing whenever I listen to the song. This one’s a sure shot instant party starter.”

The Punjabi movie ‘Teeja Punjab’ is written and directed by Amberdeep Singh, who is also featured in the film along with actor and singer Nimrat.

He adds: “Gallan Chaandi Diyan’ is the song that has all the flavour and desi tadka to win your hearts. This is just the song that we need to brighten up the celebratory mood a little more and make everyone from ‘chacha chachis’ (uncle and aunts) to the tiny tots fall in love with it.”

‘Teeja Punjab’ is produced by Amberdeep Productions and Omjee Star Studios. The lyrics of the song are penned by Harmanjeet Singh and the music is by Jatinder Shah. The first song from ‘Gallan Chaandi Diyan’ released on November 23 on Sony Music India. The film will be released on December 3.

The first look poster of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya from his upcoming multi-starrer ‘Bangarraju’ has been unveiled.

Naga Chaitanya, who is in a swaggy attire, has drawn attention with the poster. As the makers also unveiled the first look teaser featuring Naga Chaitanya, it has boosted the hype for the movie.

On Tuesday, the makers bring in the celebrations of Naga Chaitanya’s birthday, by unleashing a cool teaser, featuring Naga Chaitanya from ‘Bangarraju’. The teaser opens with a shot that shows off the portrait of Nagarjuna hung on the wall, after which the lens shift on Naga Chaitanya, who is walking in style while his smirk denotes his perky role in the movie ‘Bangarraju’.

As the Akkineni hero walks forward, the focus shifts on the ornaments placed near his father’s portrait. Naga Chaitanya then proudly wears the ornaments and walks towards his fully decorated Royal Enfield bike. On the way, the actor is seen stylishly hitting the cattle stick on the ground that settles on his bike as he walks towards it, showing off his swag.

While the ‘Bangarraju’ teaser unleashes the cool role of Naga Chaitanya from the movie, it also brings back the memories of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, in which his father Nagarjuna plays a similar role.

The Akkineni father-son duo – Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya will be seen sharing the screen space together for the second time in ‘Bangarraju’, after ‘Manam’. Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty play heroines opposite Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, respectively.

Zee Studios is co-producing the project with Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd, while Akkineni Nagarjuna himself is the producer. Satyanand has penned the screenplay for ‘Bangarraju’, while Yuvaraj handles cinematography.

Pointing out that ‘Raji’, her character in the web series ‘The Family Man 2’, was the most vulnerable and a challenging role for her, popular south Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu said that she sought a lot of handholding and training to play the role.

Participating in an In-conversation session on ‘Creating Cult Icons: India’s own James Bond with The Family Man’, held on the sidelines of the 52nd International Film Festival of India in Goa on Monday, Samantha said, “Raji was so new, unique and exciting. It allowed me to explore a new dimension and the actor in me couldn’t refuse this challenge.”

Responding to a query on OTT, Samantha said that OTT was a platform which demanded strong story and empathy of character.

“It’s very difficult to engage the audience of a web series as we have to overcome many hurdles. The control is always at the hands of the audience,” she said.

Others who participated in the session included the directors of ‘The Family Man’ Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. and Amazon Prime India Originals head Aparna Purohit.

The makers of ‘Bangarraju’ unveiled a brand new poster that features Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s first look from the movie. As the ‘Lovestory’ actor celebrates his birthday on November 23, the makers released the poster as his birthday present.

In the poster, Naga Chaitanya looks uber cool, as he wears a yellow shirt matched with denim. To give the village boy appeal, he is seen throwing a fancy cattle prod as he poses while walking with a smirk on his face. The poster gives a festive appeal to the Telugu audience.

Nagarjuna and his son Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are sharing screen space together for the second time for ‘Bangarraju’, after the memorable ‘Manam’.

‘Bangarraju’ is the sequel to Kalyan Krishna’s directorial ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.

Billed to be a wholesome entertainer laced with a good dose of romance, action, and other commercial entertaining elements, the movie is prepping for a huge release soon. Veteran actress Ramya Krishna is playing Nagarjuna’s wife, while ‘Uppena’ fame Krithi Shetty appears as the love interest of Naga Chaitanya.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the third instalment of sports drama series ‘Inside Edge’ for the past two years.

The wait is soon going to be over as the makers of the series recently unveiled the trailer of the third season which consists of 10 power-packed episodes.

The new season promises more surprises, more mystery and more entertainment, pumping up the drama manifold. It raises the stakes higher by taking into account the idea of legalising betting in the fictional landscape of Indian cricket while addressing the rot in the system and egos flying across the room.

The creator of the show, Karan Anshuman talks about taking the game a notch above this time, he says, “With ‘Inside Edge’, the intent has always been to level up from where we left last season and offer a narrative speckled with newer story arcs, characters and oddities that would intrigue the viewers. From Vikrant Bhaisahab’s face off to the road ahead for Mumbai Mavericks to the big league of Indian cricket, the plot thickens this time, unravelling surprises and secrets you weren’t ready for.”
