The talented Telugu actress who is finding her own space in Kollywood, Anjali is planning her new innings with a new tag. After trying some class roles, she is all set for some hot and mass characters to bring up more buzz.

Anjali forayed into Tamil town more than Telugu for her looks. Her natural bubbly look impressed Tamil audience thereby giving her much needed attention. She did some flicks and bagged a commendable place among Tamil actresses. At the same time, she tried her luck in Telugu as a solo actress but class roles like Geethanjali and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu etc fetched her fame. Despite all these hits, she tried to establish herself as a hot actress and even did a special song opposite Bunny in Sarrainodu showcasing her bubbly assets. As her trails fail, she is desperately trying to grab attention by making crazy comments.

Anjali in one of her latest interviews responded on liplocks. She said that she is more than welcome to do them if the scene demands it. On the same note, she claimed that she finds it boring to act in a kiss scene to a Camera as the feeling is fake. So she requests the makers to plan kiss scenes with heroes so that the feel will be fresh and original. These comments are hinting that she is almost ready to act in romance based flicks where she can get all the fame she wanted.

For now, she has a couple of flicks in her hand in Kollywood but not one in Telugu. Rumours have it that she is dating her Journey colleague Jai and she will marry him soon to get settled in life. An official confirmation from her is awaited regarding this issue.

The mighty megastar Chiranjeevi’s ongoing mega venture Sye Raa is currently on a small break. The makers of this flick are looking forward to finalizing the composer of this flick

Earlier, this project was launched on a mega day, 22nd of August which is the birthday of megastar Chiranjeevi with Pan India technicians. Among them, the producer Ram Charan Tej roped the Oscar winner A.R Rahman to score music and background. But Rahman walked out of the project citing his unavailability of dates in a press conference. Its then the name M.M Keeravani, the master composer of historical flicks and periodic drama floated up. Still, none from the Charan’s camp talked about this issue nor given any official statement. Now a new name is ringing up to lead this movie’s musical orchestra. He is one of India’s finest composer Ilayaraja. The fact that Chiru meeting this maestro has supported this rumor to the core. However, the insiders of mega camp claim that Chiru just met Ilayaraja to congratulate him on achieving the honor Padmabhushan by the central government. But mega fans desperately wanted Keeravani as he contributed a lot for the movies like Magadheera and Baahubali.

For now, nothing has made official and entire movie lovers are curious to know the final name. This movie is directed by Surender Reddy and bankrolled by Ram Charan Tej under Konidela Productions. The regular shoot will be resumed in a month or less.

It looks like Ram Gopal Varma’s attention has shifted to politics from adult rated short films and his carcass feature films. The recent row between Andhra Pradesh government and the Centre has caught nationwide media attention. Many national media outlets were seen at the Parliament premises covering the whole story. And shockingly, the news has also caught the attention of Ram Gopal Varma, who claims that he is ‘nowhere bartered about society’.

We are not finding a fault in the director for being bothered about the society. It is a welcome move if he came up with a constructive statement. Instead, he chooses to be on his same old nasty path. In his recent tweet, he called the MPs (in particular TDP MPs, given the pic he has posted) as jokers.

He took a jibe at the AP TDP MPs behaviour outside the parliament. He stated, the TDP MPs are a national embarrassment to the International reputation of TDP.

Ram Gopal Varma also went ahead saying, ‘No wonder if Narendra Modi things Andhra Pradesh is a joke if jokers (TDP MPs) like this are elected as representatives’. He was, in fact, referring to actor-cum-politicians Sivaprasad.

Hollywood beauty Uma Thurman alleged that producer Harvey Weinstein, who is currently facing charges on sexual assault with the #MeToo campaign, tried to kill her in the name of a stunt.

‘I was shooting for the movie Kill Bill (2003). The director asked me to drive a rattrap convertible down a curved road into the woods (forest). What’s more shocking was he asked me to drive at 65kmph. As I was driving, in order to avoid a sharp curve, I rammed into a tree resulting in severe injuries.

My knees were severely damaged, and I was shocked to be alive. The director Quentin Tarantino forced me to perform this stunt, thanks to Harvey Weinstein who was producing this film.

Weinstein sexually abused me multiple times, and this stunt was indeed planned to only kill me,’ said the actress.

Seconding her, the stunt coordinator on the Kill Bill movies Keith Adams, also came in support of the actress. ‘The entire stunt team was not allowed on the sets that day. Director Quentin Tarantino forced Thurman to drive the car at such high speeds, knowing that it would result in an accident’, said Keith Adams.

Hero Sivaji has been highly vocal regarding the Andhra Pradesh Special Status movement since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The actor has been actively participating in meetings across the statements. In fact, his comments took a  fierce shape recently. After the recent row between the State and Centre made headlines, the actor came down lashing at the TDP MPs and called them traitors.

Taking a jibe at Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, hero Sivaji posted a tweet. His tweet read, ‘We should be only concerned about the AP Reorganization Act 2014. Special Status, Railway Zone (for Vishakhapatnam), Uttharandhra – Rayalseema Package, Kadapa Steel Plant, Polavaram project and Capital are important to us. What is the use of trying to find out balance sheets, ignoring all this brother?’

Moreover, his tweet comes after Pawan Kalyan appealed that, he would take a decision upon reviewing the sanctioned funds and promised funds by the Centre to the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Guess, it is time for common people to look at politicians (or a social activist) based on their involvement, rather than their celebrity status. Except for Sivaji, and hero Nikhil (recently), no celebrity from film industry has come in support of the ‘Special Status/Package’ protests against the Centre.

The only mistake I committed in my entire 43-year-old career, is not appointing a secretary to look after my schedules and film-related issues. ‘If I ever had a secretary, it would the secretary’s responsibility to collect the remuneration from the producer. He can threaten the producer that I wouldn’t act for them next time if he doesn’t pay this time. He can also ask for privileges like a car for me. But that is not the case. I never had a secretary. Instead, I used to tell the producer; I would get my own car and food,’ said Mohan Babu.

Answering why people perceive him as a rough man to handle with, ‘if the producer doesn’t pay me, I go up to him and ask on his face. He may not appreciate my attitude towards him. This could be one of the reasons why people perceive me as rough. I advised my children to have the secretary’s to avoid the image I faced’, said Mohan Babu.

Mohan Babu’s ‘Gayathri’ that released on February 9th is having a good run at the box office.
