Allari Naresh was recently seen in the horror film 12A Railway Colony, which failed to make a strong impact at the box office. The film’s story was provided by Dr. Anil Vishwanath, known for the successful Polimera franchise. Kamakshi Bhaskarla played the female lead and was also involved in the film’s writing process.

During the promotions of her upcoming film Agadha, Kamakshi Bhaskarla made an interesting revelation about 12A Railway Colony. She revealed that the lead characters were originally written as brother and sister, and the revelation was intended to serve as a major climax twist.

According to Kamakshi, the story initially unfolded from Sai Kumar’s character’s perspective, as he discovers the truth about the lead pair. She explained that there was even a dialogue suggesting that the hero would have died after discovering the truth. However, significant changes were reportedly made to the screenplay during production, altering the original storyline and, according to her, reducing its intended impact.

Kamakshi said that the original version had the hero and heroine falling in love without knowing they were siblings. However, what audiences eventually saw was substantially different from the script they had written.

She also revealed that the original script did not feature any songs and that the characterizations and character arcs were significantly different. According to her, several changes were made as more people became involved in the filmmaking process.

Kamakshi further stated that audiences are increasingly appreciating authentic and bold storytelling instead of conventional choices. She revealed that several actresses were initially hesitant to take up the sister role, which prompted her to step forward for the part.

However, she feels that the film ultimately moved away from the original concept and lost some of its intended authenticity.
