There is a special place in Tollywood history for Annapurna Studios. The studio was founded in 1976 by ANR with the intention of giving filmmakers the infrastructure and assistance they needed when the film industry moved from Chennai to Hyderabad. With a sizable workforce and decades of growth, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala, and Supriya have been leading it.
Nagarjuna Akkineni showed his gratitude for the studio staff in a new video called “Annapurna Studio Heroes.” He emphasized in particular the commitment and allegiance of a senior worker named Ramachari, who has been employed by Annapurna Studios for almost 47 years, starting from the studio’s founding.

Ramachari was the studio’s first employee, and Nagarjuna acknowledged this, stating that he has been a vital member of the Annapurna family for almost fifty years.
Even at eighty, Ramachari is still a dependable and active person. In a lighthearted aside, Nagarjuna said they could give Ramachari all of their money to store in iron boxes, knowing that he would protect their possessions.
Ramachari thanked Annapurna Studios in the same video for giving him the chance to work there. He revealed how the Akkineni family had treated him like a member of their own family, with Nagarjuna in particular. Ramachari thought about Nagarjuna and how he had supported him through difficult times and helped him build a house.
