Siddhesh Lad has moved from Mumbai Indians to Kolkata Knight Riders as part of a trade-off on November 15 (Friday).
Lad was picked by Mumbai Indians’ set-up in 2015 and played his first game for the franchise against Kings XI Punjab last season after Rohit Sharma was ruled out due to an injury. He scored 15 runs in his only IPL game so far.
The middle-order batsman has also played 38 T20 games, having scored 628 runs. His highest individual score of 82 came against Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2017-18 domestic season. He is also a useful off-spinner, having snared 18 wickets at an average of 18.83 in T20s.
