Naga Chaitanya Acquires Hyderabad Blackbirds Racing Team:
Tollywood star Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has recently taken ownership of the prestigious motorsport racing squad, Hyderabad Blackbirds (HBB). This team, renowned for its performance in the Indian Racing League, is all set to participate in the inaugural season of the Formula 4 Indian Championship. This exciting new endeavor is being organized and promoted by Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL).
Naga Chaitanya’s deep-rooted passion for motorsport, cultivated since his early years, has always made him a fervent admirer of Formula 1, supercars, and motorcycles. His profound interest and enthusiasm for the sport, coupled with the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of Indian motorsport, played a pivotal role in his decision to invest in this racing team.
Naga Chaitanya conveyed his excitement, stating, “Being involved in motorsport has always been a lifelong dream of mine.” Joining the Hyderabad Blackbirds team brings me immense joy. In its inaugural year in the Indian Racing League, Hyderabad Blackbirds achieved significant recognition. Two standout drivers from the team, Akhil Rabindra and Neel Jani, secured an impressive 1st and 2nd place in the Drivers’ Championship.
Furthermore, as a team, HBB also claimed the second position in the Teams’ Championship. Hyderabad Blackbirds is now preparing to take part in this year’s FIA-certified Formula 4 Indian Championship, which is poised to draw emerging and aspiring racers from across the globe.
