Naga Vamsi Says Jr NTR’s Intro in War 2 Will Be a Screen-Shattering Moment
Anticipation is sky-high for War 2, the next big action spectacle from YRF Spy Universe, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is set to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, and will mark one of the most explosive face-offs in Indian cinema.
Producer Naga Vamsi, who acquired the Telugu distribution rights for the film, has started building buzz. In a recent interview with Gulte, he revealed that Jr NTR’s introduction scene in War 2 will be nothing short of electrifying.
“Screen chirigi poddhi!” (The screen will explode!), said Naga Vamsi while describing NTR’s entrance scene.
The producer candidly shared that his main reason for acquiring the rights wasn’t just the content, but the mega clash between two of Indian cinema’s biggest stars—Hrithik and NTR.
“I bought the film solely for that face-off. I didn’t even need to watch it to judge. Just witnessing that massive battle on screen will be beyond amazing,” he said.
With both shooting and post-production complete, War 2 is entering its final leg of promotions. This will be the costliest acquisition for a Hindi dubbed film in Telugu in recent years, reflecting the scale and expectations pinned on it.
