Nagaland polls: Over 82% turnout reported, stray incidents of violence stated.

The percentage of Nagaland’s assembly poll is almost reached 82.42 from the 13.16 lakh voters across 59 of the 60 constituencies with strict security on Monday, said election officials.

In Assembly polls, the polling percentage had 83.85 in 2018, But it will be raising after the end of the poll, elections officials say. Polling did run cool way today apart from some small clashes at major voting areas.

Some persons were injured over the supporters of the opposition party persons had attacked with weapons on the main party at the Bhandari Assembly constituency village Akuk in Wokha district.

Voting is started morning 7AM at 2291 polling stations with election officers of 11,500 then closed at 4 PM.
