Veteran star Akkineni Nagarjuna, who recently impressed audiences as the antagonist in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, is gearing up for a monumental milestone in his career — his 100th film, tentatively titled KING100.
The actor appeared as a special guest on the Jayammu Nischayammu Raa with Jagapathi show on ZEE5, where he officially confirmed the project. Nagarjuna revealed that he is teaming up with Ra Karthik, the director of Nitham Oru Vaanam (Aakasam in Telugu). He also disclosed that pre-production has been underway for six to seven months, promising fans a high-octane action entertainer.
Reports suggest that KING100 will be formally launched on Nagarjuna’s birthday, August 29, 2025, in a grand event befitting the landmark occasion.
Meanwhile, fans of the actor have more to celebrate. His cult classic Shiva is set to return to the big screens in a 4K re-release in September 2025, with the official date to be announced soon.
