Akkineni Nagarjuna didn’t get a success after Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri films which were released in 2016. His latest release Devdas has fared decently at the box-office but not a commercial hit. He is not signed for any Telugu film but started working for three different language films. Those are Marakkar (Malayalam film starring opposite Mohan Lal), Brahmastra (Hindi film) and an untitled Tamil film (directing by Dhanush). He is interested to do a sequel to his 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana. But, the director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala has not finalized the script. Besides this, director Kalyan Krishna Kurasala was delivered a disaster film Nela Ticket in 2018 and he lost the credibility at Nagarjuna with that biggest failure.
All these things are keeping aside, Nagarjuna is now worrying about his two sons. Because his sons are running their career with back to back failures. Naga Chaitanya’s last two films namely Shailaja Reddy Alludu and Savyasachi were disasters and he put his all hopes on Majili film. Naga Chaitanya is sharing the screen with his wife Samantha for the first time after their marriage. What if that Majili will not give a success to Naga Chaitanya? On the other side, Akhil made a disastrous debut with Akhil. Then, Nagarjuna has taken much care to re-launch his younger son with Hello film directed by the talented director Vikram K Kumar.
Hello film has received a mixed response from the audience and did not fare well at the box office. Hello movie also a cost-failure film and not given a commercial break to Akhil. Now, Akhil is doing his third film titled “Mr. Majnu” directed by Venky Atluri. This director Venky Atluri also made his successful debut with Tholi Prema (2018) and proved as a talented director. But, what next if Mr. Majnu will be a misfire? These two questions are hunting Nagarjuna like nightmares.
