Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda Gears Up for Release – A Unique Romantic Comedy
Actor Nara Rohith is all set to make audiences smile with his upcoming film Sundarakanda, a lighthearted romantic comedy directed by Venkatesh Nimmalapudi and produced under the prestigious Sandeep Picture Palace banner. The film, featuring Vruti Vaghani and Sri Devi Vijay Kumar as the female leads, will release worldwide on September 27, 2025.
Speaking about the project, Rohith promised an entertaining ride.
“Sundarakanda is a clean, fun-filled entertainer. From start to finish, audiences will have a constant smile on their faces. It’s very fresh and very relatable,” he said.
Initially unsure of how audiences might receive the concept, Rohith drew confidence from the success of unconventional comedies like Bro Daddy.
“Playing this role was both fun and challenging. My character has his own quirks and limitations while searching for the right qualities in a partner—and that’s where all the comedy comes from,” he added.
Interestingly, Sundarakanda is not just a comeback to comedy for Rohith but also marks a personal milestone, as he stepped in as a co-producer. Alongside his cousin Santosh and friends Gautham and Rakesh, Rohith invested in the film purely out of faith in its story rather than friendship.
With promises of laughter, relatability, and a refreshing take on love, Sundarakanda is one of the most anticipated romantic comedies of this season.
