Modi Greets Thalaiva!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was in Chennai to participate in the platinum celebrations of ‘Dina Thanthi’. He addressed the attendees for about twenty-five minutes at the function. Later, he walked down from the podium, shook hands and pleasantries with actor Rajinikanth, who was among those host of others present at the Jubilee event of a Tamil daily, here in Chennai.

The meeting with Rajinikanth was a short one as the Prime Minister moved on and greeted other people present that included, state ministers, India cements Vice- chairman N Srinivasan and several film fraternity including Surya, Prabhu, and Karthi.

Modi also greeted several leaders of state opposition parties which include PMK chief S Ramadoss and his son Anbumani Ramadoss, MP and MDMK chief Vaiko.Modi Greets Thalaiva!

The Prime Minister in his opening remarks at the event expressed sorrow at the passing away of senior Tamil journalist R Mohan. Post the event he attended the wedding of a retired bureaucrat T V Soma Nathan’s daughter here in Chennai.

The Prime Minister after arriving at the airport, Chennai, reached halfway by a chopper and halfway by road to reach the venue.BJP supporters lined up along the Marina Beachfront and Modi waved to the people who came to greet him.
