Nayanthara is gearing up for her fifth theatrical release of the year with Mookuthi Amman 2, which is arriving in theatres tomorrow. Directed by Sundar C, the devotional drama is being released in Telugu under the title Mahasakthi.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 6, 2026. However, it has failed to create significant pre-release excitement among Telugu audiences. With limited buzz surrounding the film, the makers will be depending heavily on positive word of mouth after its theatrical release.
Mahasakthi is also facing stiff competition from other releases, including Ramayana and Scene. In this competitive environment, audience response and word of mouth will play a crucial role in determining the film’s box-office prospects in Telugu.
Regina Cassandra plays the antagonist, while the film also features Duniya Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Urvashi, Abhinaya and Yogi Babu in key roles. The devotional entertainer is produced by Vels Film International and Rowdy Pictures.
