Rumours about Nandamuri Balakrishna and Koratala Siva’s upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK112, have been circulating widely on social media over the past few hours. Reports suggesting that the project had been shelved created concern among Balakrishna’s fans, but the latest update from the team has now put those speculations to rest.
According to the film’s team, there is no truth to the reports of NBK112 being shelved. The project is very much on track, and the makers are moving ahead with their plans. The regular shooting schedule is expected to commence once Balakrishna completes his ongoing project with Gopichand Malineni.
NBK112 was officially launched in Amaravati in June, marking the first collaboration between Balakrishna and Koratala Siva. Given the combination of the veteran star and the acclaimed filmmaker, the project has already generated considerable curiosity among movie lovers.
The makers are reportedly planning NBK112 as a pan-India entertainer, aiming to take Balakrishna’s appeal to a wider audience.
The film is backed by SLV Cinemas and Yuvasudha Arts, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Further details regarding the remaining cast, technical crew, and shooting schedule are expected to be revealed by the makers in the coming days.
