Rescued Nepalese girls from a Goa prostitution ring
In a raid carried out by the Goa Police, two Nepalese girls were rescued from a prostitution racket, and three individuals were arrested in connection with the crime. Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch) Nidhin Valsan stated that the raid was conducted by a team from the Crime Branch, led by Inspector Laxi Amonkar, at a hotel in Bardez.
The three arrested individuals have been identified as Lal Vishan Das Sarai (37) from Ahmedabad, Suraj Dharmaraj Sharma (25) from Assam, and Vishal Kumar (21) from Kannauj.
According to the Superintendent of Police, the arrested individuals were involved in supplying girls to customers for the purpose of prostitution near public areas. The accused persons were found to be living off the earnings generated through this illegal racket.
