Mudra is an upcoming Telugu action-thriller film based on a crime theme of selling fake degrees. This movie features Nikhil in the lead role and Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead. Mudra is an official remake of a successful Tamil action-thriller film titled Kanithan starring Atharvaa and Catherine Tresa as the main lead. Coming to Mudra, this film is directed by T N Santosh who was helmed the Tamil original version. Nikhil is trying a new chiselled look to portray the role of an aspiring journalist in this movie.
The movie has been completed its shoot and currently, the post-production work is in progress. As we hear from the trusted sources, Mudra movie is planned to release on 28 December to take the advantage from Christmas holidays. It seems that Nikhil is now focusing on remake films. At earlier, Nikhil was seen in Kiraak Party film which was an official remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. But, this movie has not fared well at the Telugu box-office. So, we hope Nikhil would get a decent blockbuster with this Tamil remake film.
