Prime Minister Narendra Modi received an enthusiastic and warm welcome upon his arrival in Nizamabad. His announcement regarding the National Turmeric Board made a day earlier, had clearly lifted the spirits of the local residents.

The people of Nizamabad appeared satisfied and greatly appreciated PM Modi’s speech.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Nizamabad slightly behind schedule, traveling by helicopter from Bidar. Despite the delay, a large and eager crowd patiently waited for his arrival. Modi was visibly moved when he noticed a young girl dressed as Bharat Mata and blessed her from the stage.

BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy and Arvind Dharmapuri MP honored Modi with a shawl and a statue of Goddess Saraswati.

Expressing their support for the establishment of the National Turmeric Board, farmers presented the Prime Minister with turmeric seeds and saplings.

Bandi Sanjay informed the PM about Muthyala Manohar Reddy, a leader among turmeric farmers who had walked barefoot for 12 years advocating for the establishment of the turmeric board.

Modi was showered with flowers by the enthusiastic crowd. He removed his glasses to clear the petals and waved with both hands before extending his greetings to the audience with folded hands.

The youth in the crowd chanted ‘Modi Modi’ for an extended period and even climbed over barricades to get a better view of the PM.

Cultural performances captivated the audience at the Indur Jana Garjana public meeting.

The audience responded with enthusiasm when Modi mentioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members.

Due to security arrangements for the PM’s visit, entry into the Nizamabad collectorate was restricted on Tuesday because the helipad was located within the collectorate premises.

Nizamabad, the third-largest city in Telangana near the Maharashtra border, was adorned in saffron ahead of PM Modi’s arrival, creating a striking visual display.
