Actor Nithiin is all set for his next theatrical outing with Thammudu, an emotional action drama directed by Venu Sriram. Backed by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is slated for a grand release on July 5, 2025 (Friday).
Initially, at the trailer launch event, Dil Raju announced that Thammudu would have special premiere shows across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which generated considerable buzz online. However, in a sudden turn of events, the latest update confirms that all premiere plans have been cancelled.
According to Dil Raju, while he stands by the film’s content and is confident in its success, the cancellation is due to existing government policies that restrict early premiere shows.
Despite this, the film will open with early morning shows starting at 7:20 AM on Friday, as officially confirmed by the producer.
The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Swasika, and Varsha Bollamma. Music for Thammudu has been composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, promising an emotional and action-packed soundtrack.
