The biopic on legendary NTR is one of the most awaited films of the Telugu film industry. Amidst huge expectations and hype, this film has hit the screens worldwide with a record number of theatres in the career of Balakrishna.
Though this film has garnered a decent talk on day one, the collections have dropped to a record low after the two days. This film has done a stunning pre-release business of more 70 crores but as per the trade analysts, NTR-Kathanayakudu run at the domestic box office will not cross even 20 crores. This film is running towards a disaster in terms of revenue. This unexpected jolt has made the makers think twice about releasing the crucial second part NTR-Mahanayakudu.
As per the schedule, the second part is all set to release on February 7th but the makers are of the plans to push the release date of the film further. On the other hand, the ex-chief minister Nadendla Bhaskar’s series of interviews on NTR is trending viral. Keeping all this mind, the makers seem to be opting for a fresh date such that they have good enough time to come up with engaging content. Some part of the story is yet to be shot and in the meanwhile, RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR will hit the screens much before the NTR second part.
