Dhanush recently headlined the heist thriller Kara. Directed by Vignesh Raja of Por Thozhil fame, the film had a muted theatrical run. Mamitha Baiju played the female lead.
Kara has now landed on Netflix and is streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles available. The spotlight shifts to the digital arena to see whether the film finds a wider audience online.
The supporting cast features strong performances from Suraj Venjaramoodu, KS Ravikumar, and Jayaram. The project is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner in association with Think Studios. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
