Hyderabad Witnesses Sparse Attendance at Pakistan vs Netherlands Cricket Match:
The Pakistan vs Netherlands cricket match at Hyderabad‘s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium saw disappointing spectator attendance on Friday. Only a few die-hard fans showed up, some wearing Indian jerseys or SRH gear.
Numerous seats remained empty, leading organizers to sell tickets at the gate in a last-minute attempt to fill the gaps. This was a stark contrast to the usual cricket fervor that Hyderabad is known for, but since India wasn’t playing, the enthusiasm was subdued.
Unlike typical high-profile cricket matches, there were no traffic jams around the stadium. The absence of honking horns and bustling crowds created an unusual sense of calm in the vicinity. Instead of the usual loud cheers and spirited chants, spectators sported face paintings and a plethora of Virat Kohli-themed attire.
“Hyderabad’s cricket enthusiasts are famous for their extensive and dedicated support. Unfortunately, we don’t have any India matches here. I hope the HCA can address this,” expressed Anoop Kumar, a cricket enthusiast.
