Young actor Thiruveer was recently seen in the village-based comedy-drama Papam Prathap. Directed by S. P. Durga Naresh, the film failed to make an impact at the box office and is now preparing for its digital premiere. As per the latest update, the film will begin streaming from May 7.
The post-theatrical streaming rights have been acquired by ETV Win, with the makers hoping the OTT release will give the film a much-needed second innings. The film features Payal Radhakrishna as the female lead.
Set against a 1990s Godavari rural backdrop, Papam Prathap follows the life of a young man as he navigates marriage and its unexpected turns. Soon after the wedding, the bride uncovers a startling truth about her husband, triggering a chain of humorous and chaotic events that drive the narrative.
