Pawan Kalyan Resumes Ustaad Bhagat Singh Shoot with Original Script on June 12
After a long hiatus since September 2023, Pawan Kalyan is set to resume filming for his much-anticipated project, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, from June 12. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting the film was a remake of the Tamil hit Theri, the makers have now confirmed that the remake plan has been scrapped. Instead, the film will feature a completely original script that has been approved by the actor himself.
This decision follows the underwhelming box office performance of Harish Shankar’s recent film Mr. Bachchan, a Telugu remake of Raid starring Ravi Teja. Learning from that outcome, the team decided to pivot to a fresh narrative to ensure greater appeal.
The upcoming shooting schedule includes important sequences at Koti Women’s College and an aluminum factory, signaling the film’s shift into high production gear.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been postponed from its initial June 12 release, with a new date expected to be announced soon.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and featuring music by Devi Sri Prasad, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is shaping up to be one of the most exciting projects in Telugu cinema. Stay tuned for more updates.
