After the disappointing run of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, all eyes of Pawan Kalyan’s fans are now on his upcoming pan-India gangster drama, OG. Directed by Sujeeth, the high-budget actioner also stars Emraan Hashmi and Priyanka Mohan in lead roles and is set for a grand worldwide release on September 25, 2025. With just a month to go, the film’s hype and expectations are at an all-time high.
According to the latest buzz in Tollywood trade circles, nearly ₹200 crores is riding on OG. For the film’s buyers to enter a safe zone, it needs to collect a ₹200 crore share. Reports suggest the Nizam theatrical rights alone fetched ₹60 crores, while Andhra rights are valued at ₹70 crores, and Ceded region rights at ₹25 crores.
Adding the rest of India and overseas markets, the total recovery target stands at a mammoth ₹200 crores. The film’s box office fate will depend heavily on the premiere show talk on September 24, which could make or break its theatrical run. Whether OG manages to pull off this herculean task will be known in just a month.
