Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated film, OG, directed by Sujeeth, is gearing up for a grand release on September 25. The action entertainer is carrying sky-high expectations, and the impressive bookings in the USA are proof of its hype.
However, a fresh update has left fans disappointed. Reports suggest that the Hindi version of OG might have a limited release due to prior OTT commitments. Buzz is that the movie may not secure a multiplex release in Hindi, as a four-week OTT deal is already in place. If true, this would be a huge setback for the film’s performance in the North Indian market, where fans were expecting strong numbers.
Interestingly, with Emraan Hashmi playing the antagonist, OG holds great potential in Hindi-speaking regions. A wide release across national multiplex chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis could boost its box office prospects.
Produced by DVV Entertainment, the film stars Priyanka Mohan as the leading lady, with music composed by Thaman. While fans eagerly await clarity on the Hindi release issue, one thing is certain—OG’s arrival itself is no less than a festival for Pawan Kalyan’s admirers.
