Date:

The superstar of South India Rajinikanth carries a strong fan base in all the four Southern States of India. However, this time the equations changed for many reasons and his flick Peeta got ridiculously lesser theatres for the first time in recent past. All are aware of the ongoing verbal war between the Telugu producers like Dil Raju, Bunny Vasu and Petta Telugu producer Vinod Vallabhaneni for a couple of days. Coming to the reality, the flick Peeta is releasing on 10th of this month in the two Telugu States.

As the flick VVR is all set for its mammoth release on 11th, Peeta will be removed from the most number of theatres on the second day itself. In the city of Hyderabad, Petta which will be releasing in ample theatres will be limited to just two theatres from 11th of this month. Telugu producers support themselves saying that not just two but three flicks are releasing for Sankranthi and they couldn’t accommodate a dubbed flick. This is said to be a fitting retort to the Petta Telugu producer but Rajini fans are unhappy with this news. Peeta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun production house owner Kalanithi Maran.
