Aircraft turn off A/c to suffocate Passengers!
A national carrier flight, in Pakistan on Saturday suddenly landed in Lahore due to poor visibility.
It was a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Abu Dhabi in UAE to Rahim Yar Khan landed at the Lahore airport due to poor visibility, according to the local news channel.
It would be about 8 to 9 hours of journey from Lahore to Rahim Yar Khan by road, where the distance is rough 624.5km
Though the airline staff gave a proposal to the passengers to take them safely to their desired destination by a bus route. According to the reports, the passengers made protests by turning down the offer and refusing to leave the plane. The airline staff and officials left with no choice, turned off the plane’s air-conditioning system, causing panic and suffocation to passengers that included woman and minors, in the plane.
Passengers shared to the media, that they have asked the airlines to drop them at Multan Airport. They said that the distance is only 292 km to Rahim Yar Khan from Multan.
It is still unclear, what is the latest stand taken by the airline regarding the allegations. It is still unknown if there will be an investigation done on the matter.
