We have already reported that Dulquer Salmaan is collaborating with director Hanu Raghavapudi for an upcoming untitled romantic period drama, and he will be seen in the role of a Lieutenant in the period romance that takes place in the backdrop of a war. According to sources, the makers have roped Pooja Hegde to play the female lead in this untitled film of Dulquer Salmaan.
Pooja Hegde is one of the highest paid actresses in terms of remuneration. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Pooja Hegde who used to charge Rs 2.5 Cr for a project, has reduced her remuneration for Dulquer Salmaan and Hanu Raghavapudi’ project, which is bankrolled by Swapna and Priyanka Dutt.
The sources say that the producers, Swapna and Priyanka Dutt spoke to Pooja Hegde and negotiated the price, Maharshi and DJ fame actress happily came on board.Dulquer Salmaan made his Telugu debut in Keerthy Suresh starrer Mahanati, the biopic of South Indian legendary actress Savitri.
Dulquer will be seen playing the role of Lieutenant Ram in Hanu Raghavapudi’ film , which is set in the year 1964. Recently the makers of the film released a conceptual poster and revealed Salmaan will be playing a role named Lieutenant Ram.
