Recently, it was officially confirmed that director Vignesh Shivan’s film Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, will hit theaters worldwide on October 17, 2025, as a special Diwali release.
This announcement sparked speculation about the release of Pradeep Ranganathan’s other project, Dude, directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, which was also scheduled for Diwali. Many fans assumed that one of the films might get postponed to avoid a clash.
However, the Dude team put all doubts to rest by unveiling a brand-new poster today, reconfirming that the film is indeed arriving this Diwali. They have also planned a major update at 06:03 PM today, which is expected to shed more light on the release strategy.
With Love Insurance Company and Dude both releasing during the festival season, audiences can look forward to double the celebration and double the entertainment this Diwali 2025.
