The priest receives Dakshan in the form a Gunshot!

The 75-year-old priest, Bala Datt Tiwari received a gunshot in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The bullet went through his cheek and got lodged in his ear. The priest went to the residence of the couple Chandan Bansal Singh and Saraswati Devi to perform some rituals. The rituals are planned to ensure the smooth function of the couple’s daughter’s wedding on December 1st.
During the ritual, an argument broke out between the couple, which soon turned heated. Bala Datt Tiwari intervened between the couple and tried to stop the argument. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, Bansal took out his country-made pistol and fired. Though he aimed at his wife, Saraswati Devi, the bullet hit in the face of the priest. After passing through the cheek, the bullet lodged in the priest’s ear.
The priest was immediately rushed to the nearby government hospital in the ambulance. The doctors at the government hospital referred him to another hospital in Haldwani. The doctors stated that the priest is out-of-danger and is currently receiving treatment. Though no case has been filed, the police are investigating the matter and a search has been laid out for Bansal, who is absconding.
Unfortunately, the priest who was expecting a good Dakshan (payment), instead received a gunshot!
