Budget cell phones powered by Qualcomm’s 4 Gen 2 chip
Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, aimed at meeting the needs of consumers in the value segment. The new chipset is designed to deliver seamless multitasking, advanced photography and videography capabilities, and reliable connectivity.
They engineered the platform to provide accessible mobile experiences to a wider range of consumers worldwide. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 offers fast CPU speeds, excellent photography and videography features, as well as speedy 5G and Wi-Fi for reliable connections, enabling effortless, all-day usage.
It anticipates that commercial devices powered by this chipset will be announced in the second half of 2023. Additionally, Qualcomm recently announced an extended collaboration with Sony to incorporate its future smartphones with next-generation Snapdragon platforms, focusing on premium, high, and mid-tier smartphones.
