Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi and Telugu Desam party chief & the CM of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu shared the dais at their first public meeting in Khammam on today. We all know that Congress Party and Telugu Desam parties are the bitter rivals from past fifty years and the founder of Telugu Desam party, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao formed Telugu Desam to compete against Congress. But, Telugu Desam party chief Chandra Babu Naidu has taken a dramatic turn and met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi to form a grand alliance of non-BJP parties at the National level.
The Congress party and Telugu Desam parties formed a Grand Alliance or People’s Front with the support of Kodhanda Ram’s Telangana Jana Samithi party and Communist Party of India (CPI).The main and present aim of People’s Front is to defeat the TRS party and take the throne of Telangana state in upcoming assembly elections held on 7th December. This is the first time Rahul Gandhi and CBN shared the dais to address a public meeting and the place Khammam has taken this credit.
Recently, Sonia Gandhi along with Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting in Nizamabad on 23rd November after the announcement of elections in Telangana by Election Commission. People’s Front is performing its best to attract the voters with their continuous election campaigns and public meetings. But on another side, TRS chief KCR is addressing several public meetings daily without taking a break. People’s Front should have to promote their vision to attract the voters on their side with proper strategic plans to win in upcoming assembly polls.
