SS Rajamouli has recently confirmed that his movie RRR, the much-awaited one will be releasing on October 13th, 2021. This has drawn some sort of controversy as Boney Kapoor’s Maidaan scheduled its release date on October 15th and the announcement came much before that.
Boney Kapoor is miffed with competition from RRR and he lashed Rajamouli in his latest interview to the Telugu daily. He called Rajamouli an unethical filmmaker and also remarked him as unprofessional who doesn’t know how to respect senior filmmakers.
Boney Kapoor also recalled the incident where Rajamouli has remarked on Sridevi for demanding high remuneration for Shivagami’s role in Baahubali. Boney Kapoor questioned, “how could such a big star like Sridevi accept a role for such a low remuneration? However, Rajamouli’s comments are baseless.”
