Nation’s most awaited sequel 2.0 is still facing release problems due to the incompletion of its post-production work. The team is getting unwanted doldrums from distributors for postponing the flick for the last one year.Even though the flick 2.0 and the hero Thalaivar Rajinikanth got enormous craze all over India, the delay in the release is tensing some distributors. One buyer named Sunil Narang who bought the Telugu dubbed version distribution rights for 81 crores is now having second thoughts over his deal. Shankar and producers Lyca Productions made some distributors and press to have the privilege to watch 2.0’s 3D version prior to the deals. This made Sunil accept the deal and paid an advance of 20 crores already.
At one side, the release is not yet confirmed and on the other side, Rajini’s two back to back disasters in the Telugu States in the names of Kabali and Kaala are worrying this producer. Despite gambling 81 crores, he wanted to take back his advance of 20 crores from the Lyca Productions but the makers are not willing to pay back the amount. According to the latest speculation, Telugu Industry biggies are holding talks between the two parties to settle the matter in an amicable way. Directed by top director Shankar, this movie has Akshay Kumar in the antagonist’s role and glamorous doll Amy Jackson is romancing Rajini for the first time. AR Rahman has scored the music and Lyca Productions bankrolled this project with more than 400 crores of the budget. The movie is expected to get released for this year’s Dussehra or Diwali.
