Making and breaking records is not a new thing for the Indian Superstar Rajinikanth. His new flick Kaala is smashing some existing Satellite rights figures across the South Indian movie industries.

The combination of Kabali, Rajinikanth-Pa Ranjith-Santosh is repeating yet again with Kaala. Keeping the mixed talk aside, the director Ranjith and the composer Santosh elevated Rajini in many scenes with brilliant presentation. Despite the negative talk, Kabali ended up collecting a worldwide gross of 300 plus crores. Impressed with Kabali, Rajini has acted second time in a row under Ranjith for the mafia drama Kaala which is inspired by the Tamil don Kaala which shook Mumbai’s underworld in the past. The movie was completed and is gearing up for biggest release in April. Meanwhile the producer Dhanush is completing the pre-release business. He sold the satellite rights of this movie for staggering 75 crores which include the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Kerala versions. Not only depicting the craze of Rajini Kanth, but this figure is stating the hype on this flick as the Star TV which watched the flick bought it for such huge money.

The released posters, first look, and teaser garnered rave reviews by movie lovers and reviewers. This mafia drama is releasing on 24th April in more than 5 languages in Asia. Produced by Dhanush, this flick is directed by Pa Ranjith and music is scored by Neruppu Da fame Santosh.
