Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is already on a record-breaking spree in the USA. Despite challenges like delayed premieres and the absence of IMAX screens, Coolie is witnessing robust pre-sales, signaling massive anticipation among fans. Trade experts predict that similar momentum will be seen in other international and domestic markets as well.
Following Coolie, Rajinikanth is expected to return in Jailer 2, the much-awaited sequel to his 2023 blockbuster. But while fans are celebrating his current streak, an unexpected rumor on social media has sparked concern and debate among Thalaivar followers.
According to industry buzz, Rajinikanth may soon collaborate with Siruthai Siva, the director of Kanguva, once again. The news comes as a shock to many, considering the critical reception of both Kanguva and their previous film together, Annaatthe, which failed to impress critics and fans alike.
Siruthai Siva, who was heavily trolled for Kanguva, is reportedly in early discussions with Rajini for a new project. If confirmed, this will mark their second film together. The rumored project is said to be backed by Telugu producer Srinivasa Chitturi, known for producing films such as The Warrior, Skanda, Seetimaar, Custody, and Naa Saami Ranga.
Meanwhile, other acclaimed directors like Nithilan Saminathan, H. Vinoth, and Vivek Athreya are also reportedly in talks with the legendary actor, giving fans hope for fresh, exciting collaborations.
As Coolie gears up for a thunderous release and speculation swirls around Rajini’s future line-up, one thing is clear — the Superstar continues to remain at the center of attention, both on and off the screen.
