Director Krish has joined forces with the young actor Panja Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh for an action-adventure thriller. According to the latest buzz, the upcoming film is inspired by author Sannapureddy Venkata Ramireddy’s 2019 novel, Kondapolam. Gautamiputra Satakarni fame Krish has acquired the rights for this novel and turned it into a film.
Kondapolam is all about the story of Nallamala forest-based shepherds who are responsible for protecting their sheep from the dangerous attacks of the predators and the red sanders of the region. In Krish’s directorial venture Kondapolam, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the role of a Rayalaseema village belle named Obulamma.
The sources close to the makers revealed that Rakul Preet Singh will not only surprise her fans in a de-glam avatar but she will also utter the dialogues in the Rayalaseema dialect. Rakul Preet Singh and Vaishnav Tej starrer film is replete with visual effects.
Meanwhile Krish is also helming Power Star Pawan Kalyan in a historical drama tentatively titled Virupaksha. Vaishnav Tej is the nephew of Chiranjeevi and brother of Supreme actor Sai Dharam Tej. Vaishnav is currently waiting for the release of his romantic movie Uppena which has Krithi Shetty in the female lead role.
