The young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni’s upcoming action entertainer Red was launched yesterday with a formal pooja ceremony. Sensational director Puri Jagannadh who made iSmart Shankar for Ram Pothineni attended the grand launch event of Red as a special guest and wished the entire team. After the launch event, the makers announced the release date of Red. According to the makers, Ram Pothineni starrer Red will be released on 9th April 2020. It seems the makers have a foolproof plan to score a success with Red as no top star movie will be released in the month of April.
The regular shoot of Red will be commenced from 9th April 2020. Apart from Ram Pothineni, the film Red also has Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma, in the female leads. Mani Sharma has been roped to compose the music and the action sequences will be choreographed by Peter Hein. A few days ago, the makers of Red released the first look poster that hints at the film being a far cry from the comedy movies Kishore Tirumala usually directs.
On the occasion of the launch event of Ram Pothineni starrer Red, Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore said, “The upcoming film Red is totally different from energetic actor Ram Pothineni’ earlier released films. “
Earlier Kishore Tirumala and Ram Pothineni have worked together for romantic saga Nenu Shailaja and Unnadi Okkate Zindagi, and now they are coming up with another interesting movie Red.
According to the latest buzz, Kishore Tirumala’s directorial venture Red starring Ram Pothineni, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Malvika Sharma is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster film Thadam.
Thadma is an action thriller drama written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and bankrolled by Inder Kumar, in which Arun Vijay is playing the double role along with Tanya Hope, and Vidya Pradeep.
Kishore Tirumala and Ram Pothineni’ Red is bankrolled by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and presented by Krishna Pothineni. Sameer Reddy will handle the cinematography, Art by A S Prakash, and the editing by Junaid.
