The celestial union of Lord Rama and Sita unfolded amidst grandeur and religious fervor at the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam, Telangana, on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami.
Devotees from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh thronged to witness the annual extravaganza, with the temple adorned in traditional splendor and priests performing elaborate rituals to sanctify the occasion. Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other dignitaries, graced the event, offering silk clothes and pearl necklaces to the divine couple on behalf of the state government.
Security was tight, with over 2,000 policemen deployed to ensure smooth proceedings, while devotees were provided with amenities such as shade and prasadam distribution counters. Despite the stringent security measures, the essence of the sacred event was preserved, with live telecast authorized by the Election Commission of India, following requests from devotees both locally and abroad, ensuring the continuation of this revered tradition for the 40th consecutive year.
