Rana Daggubati is an Indian actor, producer, television personality, visual effects co-ordinator, and entrepreneur.He was born on December 14, 1984 in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India1. Rana is the grandson of veteran producer D. Ramanaidu and son of Suresh Babu.He made his acting debut with the Telugu film Leader in 2010, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South.
One of his iconic films was “Baahubali: The Beginning,” an epic historical masterpiece directed by S.S. Rajamouli. The film starred Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Anushka Shetty in lead roles and went on to become not only the highest-grossing Indian film within India but also the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time. Rana played the pivotal role of the antagonist, Bhallala Deva, and received widespread acclaim for his compelling performance.
In 2017, Rana starred in two notable projects. First, he appeared in the bilingual war film “The Ghazi Attack,” which garnered critical acclaim and even won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Second, he reprised his role as Bhallaladeva in the epic action movie “Baahubali: The Conclusion,” which became a historic milestone in Indian cinema.
