Actress Rashmika Mandanna is ready to take audiences by storm with her next bold project — Mysaa. After her standout performance in Kuberaa, the National Crush is back in a powerful new avatar for a heroine-centric drama that officially launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.
The event marked a significant milestone, with producer Rama Naidu clapping for the first shot, setting the tone for what promises to be a gripping narrative. A month ago, the striking first-look poster unveiled Rashmika in a fierce, raw, and emotionally charged role — a look that’s already resonating strongly with fans.
Mysaa marks the directorial debut of Rawindra Pulle, a protégé of filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi. Produced by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy under Unformula Films, the movie is being mounted with a top-notch technical team. Cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna is on board to capture the gritty visuals, and Andy Long, known for his stunt choreography in Hollywood and Bollywood, is designing high-octane action scenes.
This heroine-driven film could become a landmark project in Rashmika’s career, as Mysaa aims to combine emotion, action, and a strong narrative voice into a cinematic experience.
