Telangana additional police Director General (Technology) Ravi Gupta has been appointed as the secretary in the Home Department. While the government also appointed IPS officer Rajiv Trivedi as the new Director-General of the Prisons Department.

Telangana additional police Director General (Technology) Ravi Gupta has been appointed as the secretary in the Home Department. While the government also appointed IPS officer Rajiv Trivedi as the new Director-General of the Prisons Department. Sandeep Shandilya who is currently working as in Incharge of prisons will be replaced by Rajiv Trivedi. The decision has been made after the High Court issued a green signal to conduct municipal elections in the state. However, the municipal elections will be held after resolving 70 pending cases in the courts on municipalities. Meanwhile, the election commission is gearing up for the municipal elections.
