Had the film stuck to its original Game Changer new release date of 20th December, it would have benefitted from an additional 5 days of screening. This would allow for a longer run during the holiday season, including Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and multiple weekends, which would have bolstered its performance. Another downside of the new 25th December release is that the second day falls on a Thursday, a regular working day, which might impact weekday collections. Given these factors, a 20th December release might have been the more strategic choice.

On Day 4 of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, Indian bowlers regained control after two rain-affected days. Bangladesh’s first innings came to an end at 233 in 73.2 overs during the second session.

Jasprit Bumrah made an immediate impact after lunch, dismissing Mehidy Hasan Miraz (20) after a brief display of aggressive batting. Hasan hit a boundary off Siraj but was soon caught in the slip cordon by Shubman Gill off Bumrah’s delivery. Bumrah’s dominance continued as he clean-bowled Taijul Islam (5) with a delivery that sharply cut back, crashing into the stumps.

Bumrah, who went wicketless on Day 1, was back in action on Monday with a fiery spell. In the first session, he bowled Mushfiqur Rahim (16), who had managed to survive some early scares. Police Bust Black Magic Scam: Fraudster Arrested in Bandlaguda

The South-East Task Force, along with local police, arrested a man for allegedly deceiving people by claiming to solve their problems, including health issues, through black magic. The accused, Ilyas Ahmed, also known as Mohd Ilyas (42), hails from Jahangirabad, Bandlaguda.

Police reports indicate that Ahmed, originally from Mahabubnagar, moved to Hyderabad in 2012 looking for work. However, he began tricking people by offering false promises of solutions through black magic.

“He scammed many by collecting large sums of money, assuring them relief from their problems. Even when their issues weren’t resolved, he continued demanding more money,” a senior officer said.

Authorities confiscated items used for black magic, including photos, threads, Rs 8,000 in cash, and a mobile phone during the arrest.

Devara’s son, Vara, joins Bhaira, raising questions: why does Vara betray his father? Is Devara still alive? And why does Bhaira want to kill Devara? These mysteries drive the story forward.

Plus Points: Jr NTR’s performance stands out, playing both Devara and his son, Vara, with great depth. Saif Ali Khan is remarkable as Bhaira, making a powerful Tollywood debut. Janhvi Kapoor, although limited in screen time, shares charming moments with Jr NTR. The action scenes are thrilling, and the supporting cast, including Srikanth and Prakash Raj, adds value to the film.

Minus Points: Though entertaining, the plot is somewhat predictable. The second half of the film lacks depth and energy. Janhvi Kapoor’s role feels too small, leaving her fans wanting more. The climax comes suddenly, giving the film an abrupt finish.

Technical Aspects: Director Siva Koratala succeeds in presenting a grand vision but could have improved the screenplay in the second half. The music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Rathnavelu are excellent, adding much to the visual and emotional feel of the film. Editing could have been tighter, especially towards the end.
