Recent Report of coronavirus infected cases

Many of the world countries have been alleging that China under-reported the coronavirus infected cases number and the fatalities as well, while there were reports that US intelligence learned about China hiding the deaths to a major extent. There were more than 3300 deaths in China as per official reports, but the alleged reports claim China had more than 40000 deaths in all.

The new reports indicate that China recorded 35 new imported cases and 6 deaths due to coronavirus, increasing the fatalities to 3318, officially. China’s national health commission reported about 37 new asymptomatic cases from the Hubei province. This brings the total imported cases in China to 841. Also, the total asymptomatic patients’ number is 721 in Hubei province alone, who are all under observation and quarantine now. The total number of asymptomatic patients is more than 1300.

Hubei province had a total of 68000 confirmed COVID-19 cases, which include more than 50 thousand cases fro Wuhan. The health officials from China reported a total of 81,589 confirmed cases and 3318 deaths due to the virus from the time it started spreading in the country.

Latest Positive Corona cases in AP

Seems like, there is no slowing down of Corona positive cases in India and Telugu states. In Andhra Pradesh, the cases toll has crossed 150 and currently the number is standing at 161. Nellore district is standing top in the list of cases with 32 and among them 8 new cases reported between last night 10 PM to this morning 9 AM.

Krishna, Guntur, Kadapa, Prakasham, West Godavari and Vizag districts have posted double digit cases with 23, 20, 19, 17, 15, 14 respectively. Vizianagaram and Srikakulam are the only districts which have not reported a single case.

As per the health bulletin released by the AP government, one patient got cured of the virus and discharged from the hospital. The London returnee who hails from Rajamahendravaram, was kept in Kakinada GGH isolation ward. His family members and friends were also tested and results have come out negative.

Allu Arjun got emotional on 6th birthday of his son

Balakrishna contribution for Corona Crisis Charity

There has been a wide criticism that despite many big to small heroes coming forward to support the Telugu states and film workers due to lockdown, hero and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna did not make any contribution.

Ending the suspense, Balayya has donated a sum of Rs 25 Lakhs to Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) being initiated by Megastar Chiranjeevi. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Chiru thanked Balayya for his contribution.

“Thank you dear brother #Balayya #NBK for donating 25 lacs to #CoronaCrisisCharity & 50 lacs each to Telangana & AP Govts. You proved ur generous heart goes out to the needy every time,” tweeted Chiru.Apart from this NBK also donated Rs 50 Lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments for Corona relief works.

The first death due to Corona virus in Andhra Pradesh

The state of Andhra Pradesh has reported the first death due to Corona virus. The deceased is identified as 55 years old Shaik Subhani from Vijayawada. Subhani’s son had attended the Taglibhi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin, New Delhi.

Subhani’s son returned to Vijayawada on March 17th and Corona has contracted Subhani from son. As the news broke out, Subhani and her son were sent to quarantine. However, Subhani had other health issues too and so she could not recover from the virus.

The Andhra Pradesh government has acknowledged the first death of Corona virus. Meanwhile, the officials have sent 29 people into quarantine who have come in contact with Subhani and son.

With the first death getting reported, high alert is being imposed in Vijayawada. The police are looking after the lockdown and urging people to stay indoors.

The country is fighting the deadly virus and will do it, until it goes off” he added.

As the country is in the mid-way of the lockdown as it happens to be 10th day today, it looks like Prime Minister wanted to lift up the spirits of the citizens. In his motivational appeal to people of the country today, Modi told only about 9PM vigil asking people to not come out of the houses during this event, like how people did during Janata Curfew’s 5 PM march earlier.

Thalapathy Vijay is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film

Thalapathy Vijay is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, which was originally slated to hit the theatres on April 9, has now been postponed due to coronavirus lockdown. Meanwhile, talks about Vijay’s 65th film have already begun.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the film will be directed by AR Murugadoss. Buzz has it that the makers are planning to cast two lead heroines opposite Vijay in the film. Names of Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are doing the rounds.

Kajal Aggarwal and Vijay have earlier worked together in three films -Thuppakki, Jilla and Mersal.. If everything goes as per plan, the duo will reunite for the fourth time.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde confirmed that she is in talks for a few Tamil films and is waiting to hear the narrations. It is rumoured that the makers have approached the Ala Vaikuntapurramloo actress to play one of the female leads in Thalapathy 65.

On March 31, Pooja took to Twitter to address the rumours surrounding her comeback in Tamil. She wrote, “Hello hello. Let’s not jump to conclusions of me doing Tamil films right now. Creative Director Sukumar making use of the time to fine-tune the script

When fans celebrated the second anniversary of ‘Rangasthalam’ movie recently, many felt sad that creative director Sukumar who has carved this brilliant movie isn’t seen in the action for two years.

While his film with Mahesh was supposed to start, the hero picked Sarileru Neekevvaru and Sukumar moved out to do #AA20. But then, due to various deals, now #AA20 is yet to get wrapped up and it looks like the film get released only next year.

Meanwhile, the director is not a panic mode or worried about the delays and is said to be considering the lockdown period as a blessing in disguise. He’s making use of the time to fine-tune the script more and also said to be preparing some storyboards for various scenes. That cuts down the production-time drastically as they will know which shot to shoot and how.

We hear that when shootings resume, then Sukumar is going to wrap the total film in a single most schedule if possible. Sukumar’s next features Allu Arjun in the lead, and plays the role of a lorry driver who smuggles red sanders in Nallamala forests.

The latest update from Union Health Ministry about COVID19 spread in India gives scary numbers as there are more than 1834 positive cases of coronavirus in the country, with the highest number of cases recorded in one day.

In the last 24 hours, India as seen 437 new cases and there are more to come on Thursday, as per the predictions by health experts. There are so far 41 deaths due to coronavirus in India and only 144 recovered from the deadly virus.

These are the official statistics from the government’s health bulletin, but the actual numbers are expected to be much more, as many as more than 2000 already by Wednesday night.

The majority of positive cases recorded on Wednesday appear to be from the attendees of Markazi meet in Delhi and they all scattered into all the corners in the country. Respective state governments are tracking their best to bring on the Nizamuddin religious meet attendees and their families to test for COVID19.

The couple met through common friends. As they got along well as friends, cupid struck Nikhil first. It took a while for Nikhil to convince the girl. He had taken the girl to Goa and proposed her to marry. The girl has then accepted his proposal. The couple had then taken the matter to the notice of their respective families and got their consent. New poster featuring Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan

Ravi Teja is going through a tough phase in his career as his last couple of films bombed at the box office. Now, the actor is pinning all his hopes on his upcoming film, Krack, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The makers of the film released a new poster featuring Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan.

The actor took to Twitter to share the poster, which bears the phrase, “Stay at home and enjoy with your family .” In the poster, Ravi Teja is seen carrying Shruti Haasan and a child artist. The actor is in his khaki uniform, which indicates that he plays a cop in the film.

It is rumoured that Krack could be a remake of Tamil film, Sethupathi, starring Vijay Sethupathi. However, the makers haven’t confirmed the same yet. The new poster of Krack reveals that the film is based on true incidents.

Krack also marks Shruti Haasan’s comeback in Telugu films. In an earlier interview with a daily, she said, “It’s always nice to do Telugu films. Although I am a Tamilian, Telugu audiences have always been appreciative. Moreover, my success began here. So, the Telugu industry is like my extended home.”

Jr NTR &BalaKrishna has rejected to play Sr.NTR Role

Director AL Vijay’s upcoming film Thalaivi featuring Kangana Ranaut is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film has been in the making for nearly a year now. Reportedly, the makers had approached Balakrishna aka Balayya to be a part of the film.

However, Balayya turned down the offer for reasons best known to him. Director AL Vijay wanted Balayya to play his father NTR in Thalaivi. According to reports, Jayalalithaa and NT Rama Rao (NTR) were good friends and Vijay had written scenes to showcase their friendship in the film.

Initially, he had approached Jr NTR to play his grandfather in Thalaivi. But, he immediately rejected the offer because he has always said that he will never play his grandfather NTR in any film. This is the reason why Jr NTR was not a part of the two NTR biopics, which featured Balayya as NTR.

Atfer Jr NTR rejected the offer, the makers of Thalaivi initiated talks with Balayya. However, the latter turned down the offer saying that he doesn’t want to play the same character again.

In the past, Jayalalithaa and NTR had acted in several movies and always maintained a cordial relationship with each other even after they took to politics.

Thalaivi features Arvind Swami in the role of late actor-politician MG Ramachandran aka MGR. The film, which is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh, is slated to release worldwide in three languages on June 26, 2020.

Ramoji Rao has donated Rs 20 crore to the Telugu states

Media baron Ramoji Rao has donated a sum of Rs 20 crore to the Telugu states. With Corona virus, the lockdown has impacted government to common man. The government needs funds and so has appealed to people to make donations.

Ramoji Rao contributed his bit on behalf of Eenadu groups. With curfew like atmosphere and prohibitory orders on roaming on the roads, Ramoji Rao could not meet Telangana CM KCR and AP CM YS Jagan personally to hand over the amount. Instead he transferred the money to Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) by online.

The Eenadu groups chairman hailed the efforts of Telugu states governments for fighting against the pandemic and added that they win over the virus. He wished for the health and prosperity of Telugu people.

Uppena revealed Vijay Sethupathi’s look from the film

On April 1, the makers of Uppena revealed Vijay Sethupathi’s look from the film. In fact, they unveiled the actor’s name as Rayanam in the film. As reported earlier, he will be pitted against Panja Vaisshnav Tej in the film.

In the new poster, Vijay Sethupathi is seen wearing a cotton shirt and a plain white dhoti while smoking a cigarette.Buchi Babu Sana’s Uppena went on floors early in 2019, but the film underwent many changes in between. Last year, it was also reported that Vijay Sethupathi has walked out of the film due to delay in production.

While Vijay Sethupathi played a cameo in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Uppena will have him play a full-fledged role for the first time in a Telugu film. In an earlier interview, Sethupathi revealed that he has got a meaty role in Uppena.

Tipped to be a rural entertainer, the film is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Newcomer Keerthy Shetty has been finalised as Vaisshnav Tej’s pair. The technical crew of Uppena comprises of composer Devi Sri Prasad and cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen.

Corona positive cases in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh has witnessed a massive jump in Corona positive cases as since last night 43 people have been reportedly infected. This has made the toll touch 87 in AP and all of this happened in a span of just 12 hours.

Out of the 373 samples, 43 samples have tested positive of the virus. Prakasham and AP CM YS Jagan’s home district, Kadapa have reported 15 cases each while East Godavari stood next with 13 cases. Among them many have travel history of Nizamuddin, New Delhi.

The officials have moved the 43 people into isolation wards and are being closely monitored. The officials are also on alert about the family members of these people. They too are being closely monitored and have been asked to stay in home isolation.

Govt in Kerala is seeking to raise around Rs 2500 crores for Covid-19 relief operations

The Left government in Kerala is seeking to raise around Rs 2500 crores for Covid-19 relief operations from contributions made by government employees. The government has urged employees to donate one month’s salary. The state has rolled out this request as Salary Challenge.

The cabinet meeting approved Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s recommendation to introduce the salary challenge to meet the challenges of Covid-19.During 2018 megafloods, the chief minister made a similar appeal and collected around Rs 2000 crores through voluntary donations made by government staff.

Around 5.9 lakh government employees participated in the challenge. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan donated Rs 1 lakh as salary challenge and all cabinet ministers and their staff voluntarily joined by donating their one month salary.

But Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala and BJP state President K Surendran objected government’s move to cut April month’s salary from government employees on the ground that such mandatory salary cuts would lead to financial stress.Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan revealed that state financial situation was moving from bad to worst and hard decisions need to be taken to tide over the financial crisis during Covid-19.

“Kerala is passing through a most challenging period while fighting the pandemic. We are using all our resources to save our people. Thousands of medical professionals are working round-the-clock risking their lives to save the people who are infected. I appeal to all to donate one month’s salary to CM Disaster Relief Fund to support government initiatives,” the chief minister appealed.
