Thalapathy Vijay is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film

Date:

Thalapathy Vijay is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, which was originally slated to hit the theatres on April 9, has now been postponed due to coronavirus lockdown. Meanwhile, talks about Vijay’s 65th film have already begun.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the film will be directed by AR Murugadoss. Buzz has it that the makers are planning to cast two lead heroines opposite Vijay in the film. Names of Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde are doing the rounds.

Kajal Aggarwal and Vijay have earlier worked together in three films -Thuppakki, Jilla and Mersal.. If everything goes as per plan, the duo will reunite for the fourth time.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde confirmed that she is in talks for a few Tamil films and is waiting to hear the narrations. It is rumoured that the makers have approached the Ala Vaikuntapurramloo actress to play one of the female leads in Thalapathy 65.

On March 31, Pooja took to Twitter to address the rumours surrounding her comeback in Tamil. She wrote, “Hello hello. Let’s not jump to conclusions of me doing Tamil films right now. As of now I haven’t signed anything and I have a couple of narrations lined up, but I am definitely looking forward to doing a Tamil film this year…if all goes well…fingers crossed. Thank you .”
