Nithiin’s action-comedy film Robinhood has now made its digital debut on ZEE5, marking a fresh chapter in its journey after a lukewarm box office run. The Robinhood OTT release comes six weeks after its theatrical debut, with the film available in Telugu audio and English subtitles.

Directed by Venky Kudumula, Robinhood was heavily promoted and marked the second collaboration between Nithiin and the director after the hit film Bheeshma. Despite the high expectations and a strong promotional campaign, the film struggled to engage audiences in theatres, receiving mixed reviews that affected its performance.

Now, with its arrival on OTT, there’s renewed interest among fans who missed the theatrical run. The film features Sreeleela in the lead role opposite Nithiin — this being their second outing after Extra Ordinary Man. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and with music by GV Prakash Kumar, Robinhood might just find a second wind with its digital release.
