RGV’s Saaree Sets Aha OTT Premiere for July 11
Ram Gopal Varma’s bold drama Saaree, which hit theatres in April 2025 and struggled at the box office, is making a fresh digital attempt. The film is now set to premiere on Aha on July 11, 2025, giving it a second chance at reaching Telugu audiences.
Written and presented by Ram Gopal Varma and directed by Giri Krishna Kamal, Saaree stars Aaradhya Devi in the lead. Known for its daring theme and bold presentation, the film initially had a low-key OTT debut on Lionsgate Play India — a platform with limited reach in the regional market.
Now, with a wider and more dedicated Telugu audience on Aha, the film could find better traction among viewers curious about its controversial content and RGV’s signature storytelling.
The supporting cast includes Satya Yadu, Sahil Sambhyal, Appaji Ambarish, and Kalpalatha. Music is composed by Anand Raag, with Ravi Shankar Varma producing the project.
